Warranty Info

Lifetime Hardware Warranty (Limited Warranty): Covers all components within the computer itself (excluding monitor and peripherals) plus the keyboard, mouse, speakers, as long as the customer owns the computer. This only covers the parts that originally came with the computer system and their replacements as replaced under warranty by Gigastrand. The customer is responsible for all costs involved in replacing any part under warranty as well as providing Gigastrand with all necessary documentation including, but not limited to receipts, copies of the manufacturers’ warranty, and positive identification. This warranty does not cover shipping or labor costs associated with parts diagnostics or replacement. This warranty does not cover mutilation, abuse or misuse, complete or total destruction of the computer or related parts in any form, “acts of God” (such as fire, flood, earthquake, tornado, hurricane and all other such forms of damage), upgrades, hardware changes, hardware enhancements made by the end-user, customer, or third parties, or any and all software related issues. Gigastrand reserves the right to cancel this warranty at any time, without notice, for any reason.

Lifetime Upgrade Guarantee: Guarantees that the computer system can be upgraded to the latest technology available at the time of purchase for the life of the computer.

Free Media Replacement: If the media is damaged, lost or stolen, Gigastrand will replace up to 1 copy of the media per year (plus shipping). Additional copies are $5 each plus shipping. This applies to Courtesy PCs (a.k.a. Webstations), and Optical Workstations only.

 

Shipping Info

Please Note: Once your order is complete you will receive a payment confirmation from Paypal. Unless additional communication is requested the next communication you will receive from Gigastrand is our ship confirmation with tracking info when your order is shipped. Items shipped via Postal Service may or may not receive a tracking number.

Small Items: Unless otherwise specified, orders may take up to 1-5 business days (depending on location) to arrive via USPS. Residents of Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, and outside the US may experience longer ship times depending on location.

Computers: Allow 1-2 weeks for delivery to continental US via UPS. Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories may take up to 3 weeks or more depending on location.

Delays In Shipping: You will be notified of any known delays in shipping.

Combined Shipping: Items with a mix of UPS and Postal Service will be shipped as a single UPS order (when possible).

International Shipping: Items will be shipped to US Customs using the methods described above. Customer is responsible for US customs fees. Express shipping is not available for international orders.

Billing

Billing: All billing is handled by Gigastrand and processed using Paypal.

 

RMAs and Shipping Issues

Returns: Orders may be returned within 30 days of purchase if in original condition and accompanied by proof of purchase. Returns will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Refunds may take up to 14 business days to process. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.

Shipping: Shipping cannot be refunded

Items damaged in shipping: Gigastrand takes great care to prevent items from being damaged in shipping. However, in the unlikely event that you receive an item that was damaged in shipping, contact Gigastrand within 48 hours of your order’s arrival and we will repair or replace that item at our option, free of charge.

Cross-shipment availability: For warranty part replacement, cross-shipping is available upon request. Retail cost of the replaced part must be secured by credit card. Expedited Shipping Availability Expedited shipping for warranty repair and replacements is available upon request.
